In addition to the comprehensive online BHARNI Register, eight printed Built Heritage at Risk Northern Ireland catalogues have been published since 1993, with an ninth publication, ‘BAR: Some Options and Solutions', reviewing what had been achieved up to 2000.
Volume 8 is the latest in a series of publications aimed at highlighting the plight of historic buildings at risk throughout Northern Ireland. A wide selection of buildings and monuments is featured, representing less than one quarter of the total number on the online BHARNI Register. Fourteen case studies also champion successful restoration projects on former buildings at risk.
*Please note Volume 8 it is now out of print but a PDF version can be downloaded below.
